"The new collaborative ambient album Knotty Pine by Kayaks Collective is a stunning masterpiece of atmospheric soundscapes and ethereal textures. Written and recorded in a cabin in Indiana over a weekend in March of 2022, five artists masterfully blend their individual stylistic elements of drone, minimalism, and field recordings to create a truly immersive listening experience.
