about

Skokie is a collection of songs from April 2019 - January 2020.

The Kayaks Collective is an experience-based collaborative group that channels the inspiration of planned real-world experiences into shareable creative works.

Shared experiences that inspired this album were days spent kayaking Skokie Lagoons during the spring/summer of 2019 and a group cabin trip of 6 Chicago-based musicians to La Porte, IN.
